Siddhartha Global Senior Secondary School is a co-educational, English medium CBSE school on Mohan Road, Jugyana, Mayapuram, Lucknow. It runs from Nursery to Class XII, with a residential wing for boarders and day-scholar transport across the Mayapuram belt.
Siddhartha Global Senior Secondary School is a co-educational, English medium school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, running from Nursery to Class XII on Mayapuram, Alamnagar, Rajajipuram, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226017.
The school was set up by Ridhima Shiksha Samiti in 2021 with a vision of a modern education system that values free thought, creativity and the freedom to choose what to study according to a child's talent and ability. The Mayapuram branch, near the Buddheshwar temple on Alamnagar Road, brings that education within easy reach of families in Rajajipuram, Alamnagar, Buddheshwar, Para and the neighbouring colonies of west Lucknow.
That means the full CBSE course rather than a truncated version of it, laboratories and a computer lab that are used in timetabled periods rather than shown to visitors, smart classrooms, and a staff room stable enough that a child is taught by the same people for more than one year at a time.
A games period sits inside the timetable rather than being bolted onto the end of it. Chess, cricket, athletics and yoga are part of the week, and houses are kept small enough that a house teacher knows how each child did in their last test.
None of that is unusual for a good school. What parents tell us they value is finding it close to home, without a long daily journey across the city.
The most useful thing any parent can do is walk in on a working day and look at a classroom mid-period. The office is open Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, no appointment is needed, and nobody will be given half an hour's notice to tidy up.
